Base Theme for the Army

I have been trying to find an archetype for all the movement bases for my army, but I kept coming up with nothing.  I spent quite a while looking at custom resin bases and at a lot of forums, trying to find the right fit for this army.  As my colors are tan and blue I wanted to step away from the crystal bases that seem to be the norm for Necron armies nowadays.  I finally found a theme that I think would tie the army nicely together.

This is an image that I pulled from an old article about the realm of battle board.  I really liked it because in my mind, the planet that the army originated from is under constant assaults from lightning storms.  The red also reminded me of some sort of acidic pool that would be hazardous to any life, except the ceramic forms of the Necrons. 

I have such an opportunity to do something fun with the large bases of the flyers that I couldn’t pass up doing some sort of extra theme.  Send me a message if you have any ideas about additions that could go with these bases.
