While I havent gotten around to painting the Lord of Flies yet, I did go ahead and make him a little base at least.

My final model for the year finished and based!
Horrors - The Pink Limit
There's never a limit though, as there's always more Horrors to be had. Well, painted, as there's still a box worth in a tray. Well, constructed, as said tray doesn't have much that's glued together. But there's more! Always more.
I think I have “enough” minis to build, prime and paint for a while.
Also I’ve started dipping my toes into basing as well.

Been messing with some basing and been having a great time I’ll post a vid of some more work.
Thought y'all would like to see my bases without orks in the way and with a more natural lighting!
And thanks to this video I discovered I can get XPS foam from the hardware store up the road for a decent cost. Which is neat.
Finding grout is far more annoying. Especially brown grout. Not to mention the minimum would be 3kg bags, which is a bit more than I would ever need.
That is annoying because I really want to build something similar for a 1/72 scale armored vehicle that's waiting to get some paint on on my table. Just to make it a bit more interesting.
I could probably just use my European Mud Vallejo texture paint, but I only grabbed the smaller one and a decent piece would consume a lot of it.
Would also need some more diverse static grass than the box of Army Painter steppe grass that I have. Need something more suitable to West Europe.
