100 Odd Cards ~ Day 25 I am halfway through completing all of the card designs of this card game! With the packaging design, the card back, rulesheet and rule coin left, I still have some ways to go, but this is really good progress! I'll give myself a pat in the back for not missing a day so far. Anyways! Time to introduce Break! A usually negative effect with a few niche practical applications, such as avoiding effects like Yoink and Cycle. But generally, yeah, you want to Gift it, or hope it gets Stolen / Magneted. With such a big consequence, it's no wonder it's found at -5 and at +5. Sidenote, I only have a single -5 left to introduce! It's a Flip card. I wonder who it'll be? (that's a lie i know who it'll be)
long time ago i made Wattkins, an Arabella from another universe split off from when she was ‘gifted’ with her fire abilities
Wattkins instead uses electricity and fights people gladiator-style for a living. She’s usually bear foot and gloved to prevent any accidental electrocutions, but she wears one boot whilst fighting. her feet act as grounds and send her excess energy harmlessly away. keeping one foot booted hinders the discharge and allows her to accumulate a lot of energy to be sent through some poor sap’s body. however, she’s not invincible; just as Arabella can get burned by heated surfaces if she isn’t prepared, Wattkins can ‘blow a fuse’ if she spends too much time ungrounded.
overall she’s more of an anti-hero than Arabella but she’s not a bad person, exactly.
