watts/jackson: i have SO many thoughts about them, it’s my second favourite watts ship after watts/jack! just thinking about action jackson and that pretzel scene where they only look at each other when the other is looking away… i think watts needs someone sturdy and reliable to ground him and jackson would appreciate watts’ interesting perspectives on everything and find it cute when he’s a bit weird! the way they were able to open up to and support each other makes me think they would have made an amazing couple! jackson organizing watts’ notes… wondering why he cares so much about this disorganized and unmannerly man but glowing under his praise… watts having the love and support he deserves… the yearning of it all… i miss jackson so much!!!!!

effie/george: i love effie as an individual, do not like her with george. their chemistry is extremely lacking and i think if george ends up with her it will feel like he is settling- not bc she isn’t amazing, but i just don’t see that spark between them. idk im not a huge fan

1. song of the year?

know better by tinashe crept UP THERE this year... it’s so hauntingly beautiful i love it SO much and i love how it’s like 2 parts? so it kinda sounds like i’m listening to 2 songs on loop on repeat when it’s just one and it’s just so BEAUTIFUL she really outdid herself with this song

2. album of the year?

oof hard to say... i don’t think i really Loved an album more than others, but a few standouts are songs for you by tinashe and inspired by true events by tori kelly. 

3. favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

i’m not sure if it’s... a group / artist but carole & tuesday’s osts this year have completely blown me away. 

4. movie of the year?

i probably have seen a total of 2 or 3 movies this whole year... spiderman: into the spiderverse is forever fave, though.

5. tv show of the year?

this is hard bc i never know if this means like, tv show that started this year or just in general? carole & tuesday and given i think were my fave new shows i watched this year. they’re anime though haha bc no american shows actually gave me too much to like...

22. favorite place you visited this year?

i actually did a quite a bit of traveling... i think it’s a tie between san jose and nyc. i loved san jose because i met new people and hung out with my friends A Lot, and it was just the most pleasant experience. i loved and missed nyc, but being away from a city for so long really ruined me that i’m not used to it anymore lol. i love the feeling of being in nyc, and i even did some stuff alone like seeing hadestown and going shopping. which is wild for me bc i hadn’t done that in sooooo long. but going places alone is kinda intimidating there bc i don’t know where i’m going HAHA but otherwise it was the most amazing experience esp since i was with my friends hanging out and eating all the time when we weren’t at con. :)
