         graduation day. it marks the beginning of a new phase of life - or it ends it. katherine was nothing but determined when she approached that dreadful high school building of mystic falls, knowing that elena had just received her diploma. knowing that elena is looking forward to starting that new phase of life.

        it's tragically ironic to watch the mirror image of herself getting another happy ending. another successful experience with people cheering and being happy for her. to elena, life consists of constant ups, never down's. katherine's life, however, had taken another low.

        not only had she been recently left because her boyfriend thought she's not worth it, no, she was also tricked by bonnie and denied of true silas-like immortality. one could say she's having a bad week. a terribly bad week.

        so yes, elena deserved death. if katherine couldn't have one tiny piece of happiness, elena doesn't deserve any either. the older vampire already imagined the way she's going to make it hurt before she ends her doppelgänger's life. it was plotted out in her mind perfectly already.

        katherine was about to reach the staircase which led into the building when she noticed something. or rather someone. the vampire stopped in her movement, ignoring the painful stitch in her heart when she recognized that well tailored suit.

        the determination to kill left her eyes, although she didn't turn entirely around to face him properly. she can't bear to look at him.

        "whatever it is you're looking for, i don't have it" katherine replied emotionless, hiding her hurt perfectly under a mask of indifference.

❛    HOW  YA’  FEELIN  ?   ❜           her  voice  is  soft  as  she  sits  beside  his  hospital  bed  ,  hand  reaching  over  to  brush  fingers  delicately  against  his  forehead.                 it’s  only  been  a  couple  of  days  ,  but  she  can’t  imagine  he  was  feeling  fantastic  after  being  forcibly  separated  from  his  father.        the  magic  required  was  intense  ----------  blue  said  the  recuperation  could  take  some  time.           she  offers  a  tired  little  smile  before  finally  resting  her  hand  against  his  cheek.           ❛    you’ve  got  some  color  back  to  your  face  . . .       kinda  lookin’  less  like  shit.    ❜

“You know... I think it’s pretty cool that you only woke after I did,” Henrik noted as he traced a finger over the curve of Landon’s jaw. They were lying in bed together now, enjoying some time together after the craziness of the past week. Things were as normal as they’d be for a little while. That’s what Henrik was hoping, at least. Now he could just spend some time with his boyfriend. “Would you want to sing for me? I missed it.”

Dizzy let out a small sigh after she had rung the doorbell.  She had asked Evie where to find his house.  She probably should have taken Evie up on her offer to come with her, but she couldn’t.  She had told her grandmother that she was going to do this, and grandmother had suggested if she wasn’t taken Evie or her then maybe one of her sisters.  Which Dizzy had said she’d be fine.  She regretted it a little in this moment.  She just hoped that he wouldn’t send her home and if he really did love her mother.

She knocked on the door ending up coming in having a slight smile on her face when she heard him ending up coming in. ❝——Thank you❞ she stood in front of him. ❝Elijah, I need to ask you a favor❞ she was direct, she didn't want to come with detours or much of anything like that. ❝There are some wolves that have become homeless and I wanted to know if they could stay here at the compound for a few days. While their home is being rebuilt again❞ her gaze was fixed on him waiting for his approval.
