This is my new son, Wavecutter, I love him. hes a hydrocar and he doesn't understand jokes.
#WaveCutter This creature was found on the Earth Clone Planet "2nd Serve"... As known scientists and experts of different disciplines exposed (?word) genetically manipulated animals, plants and other organisms on this planet thousand years ago...shortly after the experiment the first interstellar war began and the project was forgotten... Centuries later the Peaceful Age started and mankind concentrated on higher aims than might and expansion... A recent visit to the planet revealed amazing cognitions...under the influence of the special atmosphere and other planetary factors evolution proceeded in a strange way and with amazing speed and brought some very weird creatures on the surface...all of them originated from genes of terrestrial animals. The photo shows a so called "Wave Cutter". It's a huge flying mammal which flies close to the water surface of oceans and opens it beak, diving the bottom beak half into the water. This way it ploughs through the water and catches small fishes with its beak sack. To navigate through the water and descry its prey the "Wave Cutter" has a third eye on the bottom side of the bottom beak half. The eye is on the front, this way it can see underwater and look for fishes or other prey, while the 2 eyes can look where to fly...when prey is sighted the 3 eyes combine to a perfect view machine for a predator - no chance to escape! Regarding the creatures anatomy and behaviour - the "Wave Cutter" sleeps upside down hanging on big branches - scientists assume that the "Wave Cutter" evolved from bats and pelicans, but can't comprehend how this combination could ever lead to a single creature... But what can you expect from a race which was involved 1000 years in an interstellar war - caused by the avidity for material things? well...life find's a way...
A great shot posted by our friends over at @thewavecutter. Cory boards and great people we love carrying their stuff. #Repost @thewavecutter ・・・ Dreaming 💭 of that perfect wave... @chris.whitey #daydreams #wave #wavecutter
