Through surf therapy the @waveprojectuk help young people reduce their anxiety and improve confidence.⁠ ⁠ The Wave Project’s surf courses help their clients feel calmer, more motivated and better about their future. Providing surfing lessons for young people with mental health issues is a way of getting them outside, doing physical exercise and feeling more confident about themselves. Since 2010 the Wave Project has been changing the lives of young people across the UK using surf therapy. A dedicated team of volunteers has helped thousands of young people with mental health issues, learning difficulties or physical disabilities feel less anxious and more positive about themselves.
