The Mannequins
Some updated designs for the M&D's guardians featuring SATA (who belongs to the wonderful @andersam5). Some facts under the cut.
MT is the park's only remain coaster. Full name is Runaway Mine Train but he prefers just MT. Married to his beloved wife Waveswinger (wifeswinger if you will). Short king adores his tall dancing wife.
MT is one of the few non-white mannequin bases. Because of this he's supposed to be wearing a high vis vest for safety reasons. He absolutely refuses to do this and it drives Lochview mad.
Waveswinger is the park's operation manager. She organises everything. There isnt a penny spent on park that she isnt keeping track of, if there's a way to make a quick buck then Waveswinger is on it.
Wave is a fantastic dancer! She's always in movement and quite a sight to behold when she preforms. Despite her poor vision she is very graceful.
Moby's revenge is the park's trio of water slides. They are an absolute brat who hasn't been off their phone for the past 10 years. Self appointed media manager for the park, currently runs all their socials and promotional channels.
Moby is non binery and uses they/them only. Their skirt is made of a torn up non-binary flag and one of their deflated ride boats.
Air Raid is the newset of the M&D's guardians. He's no longer at the park, having only been there for the 2024 season, but his guardian appeared while staying. Formerly Spinjam of Alton Towers, the ex-retrosquad member has found himself now that's he's out on the funfair circuit.
Air Raid has a spiral eye as a leftover from his time in X-Sector. The Smiler Takeover left a mark on him. He's also the first of the park's guardians to not be a mannequin. While he looks similar to one, he's actually fully synthetic. Kind of a cross between robot (retrosquad) and mannequin (M&Ds)
And finally, an updated design for Lochview. The former head guardian is now a fully trained ride engineer/technician. She primarily works on the park but also takes jobs for the travelling funfair rides. She's also been contracted by a few other themeparks for help with tricky ride repairs.
Her hair is inspired by the patterns found on carousel horses.
Don't let the change in occupation fool you, Loch is still fully capable of defending her park. She's just shifted to focus more on aiding/repairing guardians than fighting off trouble.
The scar on her nose is from her previous job as a security guard. The one on her cheek is from SATA. She's still bitter about their last fight.
