Neither were particularly in the mood for company, which led to a fight. And being chased by the police. Fortunately for both of them, the next time they met was much more civil. Forty years of domestic civil union later, they still laugh about how they met.

The We Are, We Are Monsters children are all disaster and/or chaotic bi, (Zolin is a disaster bi, Necalli is a chaotic bi, and Esprit is both at the same time). Esprit meets Necalli by attacking and capturing her, and they both meet Zolin by attacking and capturing him... not in a malicious way, they’re just all idiots who don’t know how to have civil conversations yet.

Okay, first of all, #goals, and second of all, I, too, like the WaWam abbreviation! :)

WaWam it is! 

(It’s even better because it’s the sort of nonsense thing my main character would total say after doing something only semi-cool, and the other two would stare at her like she’s a moron.)

N4-73 (artificial human) and the unnamed protagonist (normal human. kind of) who tells the story are both hot-headed, stubborn and absolutely-totally-unutterably dead set on getting their way at all costs. Put them together and it's like an immovable object and an unstoppable force. They're both so freaking terrible and it's a delight to write about them. =D

The obstinacy! The conflict! I love it! 8D

Branching out a little here to a still unwritten wip, We Are We Are Monsters, in which the main trio and the chaotic evil (but still a wonderful, healthy guardian) or a parent are all stubborn idiots who would probably self destruct in each other’s company if not for the love of their other, far more soft and responsible lawful good parent.
