Idol Operation Chapter 29
“Distorted truths, the lies that were taught A voice of change, a wave is rising The one to create an ocean that will swallow it all It’s you...”
For the other people, today means nothing at all. That it was just something that’ll pass by as the time goes on. That today is just a repeat of a cycle that’ll never break. That today is just a day and nothing more. But for Moo, today was supposed to be her D-day. The day she’ll debut as a singer. That today is the day that she’ll start a fresh as an idol and break music records as the months go by. That today she’ll let everyone in this world to know her name. That today is the most special day aside from her birthday, because this day is the rebirth of who she was.
But a process is a process and the company still didn’t follow her request. It was like being in a G0 where you take a rest until you rot or until you are ready to carry out the stages that comes after. Moo knew that after everything she had done, she was ready to take on her role. But of course SME just had to intervene everything she had done so far. Of course Moo knew the consequences of leaving for days and then coming back since being a trainee means eight hours of practice a day and never leaving unless you need to eat. And it was so hard not to let everything go.
Of course Moo understood everything that had happened and of course she understood why the company had changed her department but it was unfair for her because she knew that these artists who trained all day to master the mask of facial expressions and distorting lies are better than her and that all she knew is how to internalize to just act within a time limit of at least a minute unlike the actors and actresses who need to act all day, everyday until the whole shooting ends. But within this changes of internal things, Moo realized that may be it is time to just stand up and make up all the things she lack of. After all, all the things you hate may end up being the answer to your problems. And that change is for the better, may be not for the others but for her.
Because she knew that trainees tend to be trainee for a minimum of three years till they become an idol and by then, she knew that these changes will help her understand the meaning of what she truly chose.
