I think Waldo could act very self-assured, as if he were a businessman with a lot of experience and a ton of credits under his belt. Maxxx sometimes teases him about it. And Maxxx finds it funny to watch Waldo try not to get mad at this banter.

I can just picture these two sitting at Mark's on "pretzel day," discussing work matters, occasionally getting distracted by trivia and food.

And most of the workers are looking at them like, "Wow, I didn't think they got along," and the other half are literally like, "MAXXX CAN TALK?!?!!?"

Waxxx (Waldo x Maxxx) stuff

Maxxx doesn't allow anyone to remove his mask. He generally never parts with it, and only takes it off when being examined by Heisenberg or around people he truly trusts.

As I mentioned earlier, Maxxx brings Waldo joints so he can get high and relieve stress. In exchange, Waldo treats Maxxx to his food, so he eats until his stomach hurts. Death reprimands them both for this kind of shit, but they couldn't care less.

When Maxxx is really sick, he lies down next to Waldo, curled up, and resting his head on his lap (and taking off his mask, of course). At such moments, Waldo is usually working on a new menu or other paperwork. So he doesn't mind the company, occasionally stopping to pat Maxxx on the shoulder or back.

When Waldo commits violence against someone, Maxxx savors every moment. Bonus points for crazy laughter. Minus points if harm is caused to Candice.

Waldo quickly understood Maxxx's manner of speech. Partly, this was helped by his work with people during life. However, this doesn't work with Imamura.

Sometimes Waldo cups Maxxx's face to physically feel something—temperature or texture. However, Waldo doesn't feel any of this until Orville at some point implants him with sensors to sense it. Despite this, Maxxx says Waldo is very warm (working in the kitchen can be hot) and enjoys being touched. But Maxxx turned out to be very cold, even icy to the touch.
