thinking about writing a fic set in eso time with my vestige and it's got me wondering, how do wayshrines work? i don't know much about them lore-wise and how accessible they are to commoners. like, could any random merchant operate one to haul their goods, from one side of the continent to the other? or do only highly skilled mages have the ability to work them? if the latter, could that mage bring someone along with them?
