Tifa hummed an old, familiar tune as she wiped down the small bar counter in front of her. Surveying the room around her, she sighed. Below, there was loud conversation happening as the rest of AVALANCHE planned their next moves. Her role was to keep up appearances; no one could know their headquarters was underneath the bar.
She was happy to do it; while she enjoyed fighting ShinRa scum like the rest of them, she wasn’t as big into the overall violent approach of having to blow u the reactors. Many innocent lives were lost or impacted, but deep down, she knew it was the only way to wake the people up and let ShinRa know they were done being used and abused for their corporate greed.
Crimson hues fell on a small flower that floated in a stein of water, her lips curling upwards as she thought about her childhood friend. He still seemed a bit sick; lingering effects from whatever it was that ailed him when she found him at the train station that day. Ever thankful that he had stayed for the one mission, she hoped he could see the merit in what they were doing and stay a little longer.
I just got you back, Cloud. I hope you won’t leave again...
