DAY 8: RECKLESS!

REALLY LIKED THIS ONE <33 hope you all do to! I was having trouble with this prompt, trying to think of any of the more "reckless" plot beats, and it hit me. Early into their marriage Neirin sneaks out and runs away. Kaerr follows and confronts him at the docks before the two of them leave together.

Its impulse for both of them. Neirin at his limits, quite literally dying without lack of proper connection. Kaerr just trying to do their best for their husband, and running headfirst into the unknown.

This is a redraw of one of the first pieces I ever drew for Wedding Bell Blues. When I was still figuring out the characters and stories a year or two ago.

It might be on the blog somewhere if you want to see the full version. But this section was specifically what I wanted to redraw! Mostly because the characters (cough Kaerr) have changed design wise :]

Inktober 10: Sweep!

i had... so much trouble with this prompt. this is such a loose interpretation but I thought the idea of themp dancing with their skirts/dresses "sweeping"/flaring out would be good?

remembered its October and I could do Inktober like midway through the month lol. Speedrunning!!

I'm playing a bit loose with the prompts. Neither Neirin or Kaerr can grow facial hair, nor can most (if any?) of the cast of WBB I realised. So I thought a fake lil ale foam stache would be a fun take on the prompt :]
