Saw the call for asks and came to deliver! Do you have any thing else planned (content wise) after WBCD or are you just gonna ride the wave and see where you end up? Also what was your favourite (published) scene to write from WBCD or just favourite one in general/which are you most proud of? (Ps hope your day gets better)

i DO have content planned after wbcd, i have a whole list of fics i wanna do that i’m continuously adding to! i actually already know which one i’m gonna work on next :)

ohhhhh favorite scene is SO hard i have too many that i love </3 i might have to do a top three or smth here cause i know i can’t choose just one

1. dean’s whole inner reflection at the end of ch 3 about his connection to baking and how it relates to mary (+ john). i tend to rely very heavily on dialogue in my writing, so i was very proud of how that scene turned out since it was primarily descriptive prose

2. the first letters scene in ch 4. the letters were one of the very first things i came up with for this fic, and it was SO cathartic to finally write them. first scene in the fic to make me cry while writing it

3. the slow dancing scene in ch 7 :) kind of the opposite of the last scene where i hadn’t planned it at ALL and it just happened as i was writing the chapter! i was listening to love at the five and dime on the playlist and was thinking about a scene i could write in a fic where they danced to it together and was like “…well there’s no reason i can’t put that in here!” i also thought it would be a perfect lead in to the first kiss, which i knew i wanted dean to initiate.

(also nanci griffith is one of my mom’s favorite artists, so the song really meant a lot to me already—putting it in here really just solidified that as one of my fave scenes <3)

For the chapter 7-8 posting honestly i don't mind much either way. Sitting on this italicized oh for a while would be fine haha but I do love your content and getting it weekly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

okay good to know! it’s looking like i will definitely finish ch 7 in time to post it next wednesday, but i think i’m gonna see how far along i am in ch 8 by then before i make a decision!

Going through the waitressnatural tag cause school is stressful and this gives me so much life in a way no other non-canon adjacent au every has. Like they can never capture the emotions of the characters and their backstories but waitressnatural just does. Cause like it's not just about Dean and Cas getting together but it's about healing and hoping and things getting better and your Dean just hits hard in the same vein as canon Dean does and you go and pair it with waitress which makes me so emotional and hits so hard and is also about healing

I kinda rambled but waitressnatural is peak au and I'm so in love with it

but seriously you don’t know how much this means to me like. i don’t know how to put it into words.

and this your living kiss was a huge huge inspiration for me going into this fic, it really connected with me on a level very other fics ever have before, and everything you just said about wbcd being not just about the romance but about healing and hope is large reason why atylk resonated with me. my ultimate goal was to make someone feel how i felt reading that, so to hear that i even got close is like. it’s honestly everything to me i’m shaking a lil <3
