WBDJ7 Shooting

Guys, today my hometown has experienced a great loss. A WBDJ7 reporter (Alison Parker) and cameraman (Adam Ward) were fatally shot on LIVE TELEVISION. They were interviewing a woman (Vicki Gardner) at Bridgewater Plaza in Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia. Vicki was shot, but is currently in stable condition. The shooter recorded himself shooting them. He RECORDED it. And then POSTED IT ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER. It’s sickening. But that’s all I will tell you about the shooter. I don’t care about who he was, or why he shot them. I only slightly care that he shot himself afterwards. I care about the victims, who may not even be remembered after 3 days. I care about their families, and their friends. I saw, on live television, the fear in Alison’s eyes. The last expression anyone will ever see her with is one of fear. So I just want you guys to not pay attention to the shooter. Not to give him the attention he most likely wanted. I want these victims to be known. This just hurts so much. I cried during school today when I watched the shooters recording, when I saw her fear and heard her screams die out. This doesn’t happen here. Except it does. It happens everywhere. People can be awful, awful human beings.

Watching those 2 Virginia TV Journalist get gunned down on live on air messed me all the way up 😔😒😭 God Bless their loved ones 🙏🏾
