Windbreaker chapter 216. Part 2!!!!

Two things very quickly, my new boyfriend Endo looks amazing and Suo, the character that I stared reading this manga and one of my favourite characters is going to kill me, like, stop this shit and come home.

Oh I just KNOW the Furin boys are going to pull out Suo's full government name whenever they're mad at him.

Suo: Hm, your tea-making skills are poor.

Furin boys: WELL EXCUUUUUSE ME, SU FANG SUN FEI!! I DIDNT KNOW YOU WERE AN OFFICER OF THE TEA GANG!! JUST ANOTHER BIG SECRET, HUH?? ARE YOU GONNA BEAT UP NIREI AGAIN??

So I have some more Suo theory’s, so more Wbk chapter 216 spoilers!

I don’t think Suo was the one who chose to come to Makochi. Instead I think that sending him there was a way to control/limit his master power or influence.

Suo being a prodigy could have threatened someone higher up who disliked his master or they simply felt threatened by Suo’s master gaining more power and therefore sent Suo away under some excuse. Like Suo recovering from his eye injury or him getting more experience in a safer environment.

I don’t think Suo was an officer when he first came because of his age, I think it more likely that he became an officer right before starting at Furin.

It would be sad if he spent the first time in Makochi being closed off because he thought he would get to come home to Bankoku-gai soon but even after becoming an officer he didn’t get permission to return.

So when he came to Furin he decided that he would simply have as fun as possible and he let himself get attached to the people there. But just as he was starting to like Makochi more than Bankoku-gai he got orders to come back.

But how did all the rumors of Suo start and especially how did Nirei find out that he is afraid of natto?

When he first came to Makochi there was probably someone older with him, maybe one of his brothers. That person helped him infiltrate the city naturally and started some of the rumors surrounding Suo.

This person monitored him and was the reason he got promoted to officer or at least recommended him for the position.

After Suo got promoted to officer this person decided that Suo could handle himself and left him and that’s also why Suo could be a lot more free after being Furin.

But what’s the reason Suo has to leave?

It might be because something is happening in Bankoku-gai, like an attack. It could also be a change of power within the rc or something could have happened to his master.

There was no plan or preparation for him leaving so it was probably time sensitive. Something happened during those three days and only after that could he start leaving by resigning from the school and probably also packing up his things.

But when he did that he ran into Nirei and he couldn’t resist saying goodbye. After his fight with Nirei he hurried to finish leaving and then he led as fast as he could, before he could start thinking to much about leaving.

Ok but I love how similiar Umemiya's expression from chapter 134 (after Takiishi punched Endo) and 216 (when Sakura almost punched Endo)

Suo is driving me crazy...

So, Suo -> Sun Fei. I like it! I'm obsessed with how Satoru Nii is embracing the multi-cultural aspects of Suo's character and the wind breaker world.

Suo/Sun Fei is an officer of Red Chanpuru. At 15???

He's got friends/"brothers" in Red Chanpuru who are informal with him

We don't know why he came to Furin

My main concern is: why tf did Suo crash out on Nirei over this? From the limited information we have, it feels like he overreacted.

He could've said "Hey, I'm in this other group, they're like my family, so I'm leaving Furin to be with them." But instead Suo went NUCLEAR on his relationship with the Furin boys. Why couldn't Suo leave Furin peacefully and stay contact with his friends? Bankoku-Gai is only TWO HOURS from Makochi so they totally could've made the friendship work even if Suo can't return to Furin. The Furin boys would've been understanding and done their best to keep the friendship.

We're definitely still missing a big piece of the puzzle, because this alone doesn't explain why Suo wanted to completely sever ties to Furin. There has to be someone dangerous who is forcing him to cut Furin off.

Maybe it's his biological family or it has something to do with his Master? Idk, there's so many questions...

Personally, I like the idea that Suo was coming to Furin in secret and got caught. Red Chanpuru wasn't happy about him double-dipping so they threatened to hurt his new friends if he didn't come back voluntarily. Maybe Red Chanpuru used to be an honorable group but they aren't anymore and Suo wants out.

Anyway, I hope Sakura beats his ass (affectionate) and then Furin adopts him again.
