History has aided in giving witchcraft a very bad name, and it has done a poor job of reporting. It has been very biased for the simple reason that many times a person has been accused of witchcraft because that person has something the accuser wants, and by destroying the so-called witch’s character, this accuser stands to gain publicity, prestige, and so on.

There is such a feeling of awe for the Supreme Deity that I am much too small for an entity to even dare to give it the name of ‘God.’ We call it the Supreme Deity–the source of all life force. What is magick?

The definition of magick is fluid and varies between witches; some may accept the definition given by another witch, others may come up with it on their own. After researching the subject a bit, I’ve come to the conclusion that a universal definition itself isn’t important. What’s important is that every witch finds or comes up with a definition that gives them a comprehensive and graspable explanation of magick. 

For me, magick is energy. I’ve always needed a scientific explanation for most things, so viewing magick as simply energy that’s able to be manipulated fills that need. We already know that energy exists in practically everything, and I believe that there’s a great deal more of it than we’re aware of. It takes different forms and can be used to fill our needs and wants through methods we call “witchcraft.”
