I think here is where doctors Wily and Eggman have their official falling out, and all due to Wily preferring his long-time rival and former colleague be humiliated, not outright killed. Its a little bit ambiguous, but I’m pretty sure Wily also saw Dr. Light live, because they don’t go into his old rival’s death and only says Eggman “tried to kill” Thomas.

We don’t see much of the interior of the Wily Egg, but the aesthetics seem to mostly be a metallic blue, with spikes and just a couple of Sonic 3′s Death Egg’s set pieces. And yeah, Sonic and Mega Man are still competing for who should be leading based on which obstacles are more familiar. Even Tails and Rush are starting to get annoyed!

I always thought the name “Mega Man Killers” was so redundant, because that’s kinda the reason why Wily makes any of his robots.

Where we left off last time, Dr. Light was kicked out of the Wily Egg like he was yesterday’s lunch, as was what Eggy thought was best at the time. Mega Man and the others are up and panicking upon seeing their dad figure plummet towards the abyss.

It wouldn’t be an Eggman/Wily base without a Yellow Devil-like obstacle. It being based on Perfect Chaos is an added bonus.
