You all know I love myself a great coach. Let’s talk about Sarina Wiegman for a minute. 5 major competitions, 3 winner’s trophies, 2 runners-up medals, hasn’t finished lower yet. Back-to-back Euro champion. And her current England team can put up goal-scoring bonanzas at will while making it very difficult for teams to score. Every team has off days, and they’ve had theirs, but this team is playing some of the most balanced football out there, worthy of having World Champions Spain as a current rival. This team doesn’t give up, they express themselves, and they’re an absolute reflection of their coach.

Now let’s talk about Montse Tomé, because she 100% deserves some respect and praise as well. Spain is currently the most dangerous national team in women’s game, period. The fitness and the skill of the Spanish team is second to none, even after today. She’s already a World Cup winner, a Nations League winner and I wouldn’t rule out back-to-back World Cup wins. She manages Ballon D’or winners and that’s not an easy thing to do when you really have to use your whole squad in a tournament. Spain is entertaining, versatile, and quietly powerful just like their coach. I’m totally looking forward to see these two women lead their teams in the next World Cup. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
