Jarrod Bowen Premier League Goal Involvements 2019-2026: 96

Bowen had more goal involvements in four of the last seven seasons: 20/21, 21/22, 24/25, and 25/26.

Bowen was playing for Hull when I featured him on this blog. He went to West Ham for about €22M where he played under a defense-first manager in David Moyes. He continues to be one of my favorite players because he’s been absolutely brilliant given who he played for, who he played under, and the low transfer fee. I think a number of clubs slept on this man and clubs like Chelsea and Spurs could’ve used a player like that in their squad this season.

City and Liverpool waited until we hired Carrick to announce Pep leaving and Slot being sacked. Now they’ve picked up two quality coaches and I’m sure they’ll bolster in the summer. Really hope the United board has a good plan for the men this summer. With Alonso joining Chelsea and the possibility of them changing direction with their management philosophy, I think the top 4 becomes way more competitive. Need to have a look at the women this week, because given how we started, I’m not happy with where we finished. I think we have solid foundation that HAS to be built on. No reason why United shouldn’t be building world-class men’s and women’s teams.

Fantastic performance by the Fire tonight. For an expansion team, I’m already quite impressed by the squad they’ve assembled and their coach looks like he knows what he’s doing. It would’ve been a closer game if the Fever hit more threes, but that rudderless play didn’t really improve much as the game went on. Also, you can just see how well Coach Sarama has been drilling them from day one and they’re already beginning to reap the harvest. Portland fans, per usual you came with it and your DJ was on point with the music, great job tonight. 😂🔥

Fever need to organize and figure out who is running their offense. They look absolutely rudderless out there. Fire are just running their offense the way they want and the Fever are lucky to only be down 19. Surprisingly this is only the second time I’m getting to see Clark play live. She’s not off to a great start but still a GREAT game. The Fire look good, you can see their chemistry is developing and I think they could be a dark horse this season if this form continues. 👍🏾

And now for the World Cup, which our esteemed leader will somehow make all about him. If you’re traveling, please be careful. I would remove all social media apps before you leave, along with any photos or texts that are anti-regime. Put them in the cloud and reinstall the apps once you clear the airport. Don’t send anything sensitive while connected to airport Wi-Fi. ICE will be out in force and it won’t matter if your papers are in order; it hasn’t mattered for many citizens here.

Keep your ID on you at all times. If you’re stopped, keep your composure and show them your documentation. If they ask you personal questions you don’t have to answer them, simply tell them you’re here for the tournament. The treatment of detainees has been abhorrent to say the least, don’t want to see any of you get detained. If they try to take you, give your phone to friend or family member, even a bystander because we know the deal and will keep it safe or call whoever you need us to. Surprising Stat:

26 goals from corner kicks. I don’t think people fully understand or appreciate how insane that stat is. It’s hard enough to score from open play even when space opens up for a shot on goal, let alone in a crowded penalty box. Top-class strikers like Harry Kane score 26 goals in a season. That’s a little more than 54% of the total goals Spurs scored this season and 96% of the total goals Wolves scored. If Wolves could’ve scored that many goals from corners, Spurs would’ve been relegated. 🤯

If I’m anyone at Manchester United…literally anyone…like the janitor will do 😂… I’m telling Luke Shaw to get ready to start less because we’re getting Nuno Mendes. If we’re going to splash cash for anyone this summer, and if they’re serious about challenging sooner rather than later, I think he’d be revolutionary with the attacking lineup we currently have. While we still have Bruno, an outlet ball to him on the break would be devastating.
