I'm heartbroken to see that my local PBS station, WCET, has lost the most funding of any station in Ohio. At a time in my life when I was struggling and couldn't afford streaming, my ancient foil-wrapped antenna picked up one channel: WCET. Watching Nature and Nova every Wednesday night came as an incredible solace. Now that I'm in a better place, I'm proud to donate to WCET yearly, which gives me access to a huge number of BBC and Masterpiece shows plus programs like Nature, Nova, and American Experience through the PBS Passport app. If you can, please consider donating via the links in my previous reblog, and look into your local channel -- you might be surprised by how much fantastic content you can find on Passport. An example of some shows include Little Women, Call the Midwife, Wolf Hall, All Creatures Great and Small, Poldark, Sherlock, Victoria, Howards End, and The Durrells in Corfu.
