Welcome to Warrior Cats: Fading Connections!

Warrior Cats: Fading Connections is a new Warriors RP Discord server where you can play as your OCs or even adopt from a multitude of NPCs available in an engaging, evolving plot. 

Somethings we think are important for you to know:

- LGBT+ friendly and run

- Have many high rankings open

- Developed a simple stat system to make events and combat both fair and intense -- find ways for your characters to act creatively, or start character arcs to see your character develop their stats! 

Warrior Cats: Fading Connections takes place over many generations after the legendary Firestar’s passing, in the original forest territories. Twolegs have kept away from the clan cats -- for now. What of the evolving activity in the Twolegplace? How did these new clans come to be? And in the aftermath of the Great Clan Wars, will the clans truly stay peaceful, or will they fall apart?

What are the Great Clan Wars?

The Clans: Sootclan: Windclan’s branch, the honorable cats of the tunnels and rocky riverside. Hollowclan: Thunderclan’s branch, the diplomatic cats of abundant prey and forestry. Fogclan: Riverclan’s branch, the elite cats of leadership and fighting, who dislike water on their paws. Rowanclan: Shadowclan’s branch, the resourceful and innovative cats of the wasteland.

Hello everyone! It's been a bit since our last update, hasn't it? WCFC's mods have been hard at work behind the scenes to improve the roleplay experience. Today, I'm proud to bring you our own website, complete with lore, high ranks, and more to explore! We hope you take a look and consider us as a new server you can call home.~

Plot update!! The Journey continues in Arc III: Splitting Hairs.

After spending so much time together, the clans were restless... and Starclan has begun to show their true colors. “If Starclan even cared about us at all in this whole process, we would not have stayed here this long.”

Bumblestar, Hollowclan leader, expresses distaste for their situation... yet, she is the only leader who has received a sign from Starclan: water tainted by salt. She confided this to Emberstar, but Emberstar only makes matters worse with Starclan.

“...Rowanclan will continue to grow in strength without a deputy.”

Emberstar announces she will not be appointing a deputy, immediately causing an uproar. She then announces that Bumblestar has communicated with Starclan which direction to go next, and the two team up.

"She and Bumblestar are just going to lead us through rogue and kittypet central, and I'm supposed to be okay with that? We’re supposed to be okay with this?!"

Without any complaints from Copperstar, Sootclan's new deputy, Stagmist, steps up to the podium in defense. Due to their ties with Starclan, it was offensive to hear that Emberstar was making a decision without their aid.

“We’re staying together. It makes the most sense, and going alone is a major threat to your clan’s safety.”

Dreamstar steps in, not wanting the rest of Sootclan to disappear just like the patrol they sent to the mountainsides. Her care for the other leaders and clans unfortunately put her at odds with Emberstar and Bumblestar, deciding her clan would go northeast with Sootclan.

A chasm now split the leaders in half: Emberstar and Bumblestar standing together; Dreamstar, Copperstar, and Stagmist standing opposed.

The clans asked for a sign from Starclan, and they certainly got one. Starclan had made the decision to split up for them: Fogclan and Sootclan would go to the large mountain range, while Hollowclan and Rowanclan would continue to the abandoned twolegplace. They decided to meet up once more in a moon with results --- hopefully those results would be a suitable new home, for their own good.

The clans continue to wander without guidance. Who will find Starclan's favor, and who will not? Find out in ARC III of THE JOURNEY: SPLITTING HAIRS.

Up For Adoption

Character name: Stagmist

Clan and Rank: Sootclan/Warrior

Age and Gender: 23 Moons/Male (he/they)

Personality: Typically cold and unapproachable to strangers and cats of other clans, but once you know him, he is sweet, kind, and caring, but very quiet. His love language is more his actions than his words.

He is very hard set in his morals and values, and doesn’t have much tolerance for aloof cats. Cats who are not loyal to the warrior code and starclan are the lowest of clan cats; the same level as kittypets. He holds the Sootclan (and by extension, the old Windclan) value of being “holier than thou” very close to his heart, and despite what others may think, does not have a god complex and is not a narcissist. He is just very ambitious and thinks everyone, *ALL clan cats*, should follow the warrior code as closely as he does, believing it to lead to complete peace.

Requirements: He prefers quiet, more reserved cats like himself. He is much more content spending time sunning and sharing tongues with someone who shares the same values and personality he does. He is gay, but will be friends with anyone! Forbidden romances are COMPLETELY off the books.

The Great Clan Wars

The Great Clan Wars are an important part of the history of these clans, and is mentioned many times in the roleplay.

They began because Thunderclan outgrew their territory, and began to fight Riverclan for theirs. Thunderclan split into two clans, Thunderclan and Hollowclan, thinking that having a new clan with less membership would better manage their own small territory taken from Riverclan. When Riverclan split their stronger fighters into a smaller, more elite clan, Hollowclan and Thunderclan's combined efforts failed miserably against Fogclan's strong warriors and natural leaders. Hollowclan then turned against Thunderclan in a grapple over their old territory, while Fogclan continued to expand into some of Thunderclan's territory. Thunderclan went over the thunderpath to conquer some of Shadowclan's territory so the fighting between Thunderclan and Hollowclan would cease, and succeeded.

Shadowclan began to look for alternate food sources as they began to be pushed out of their own territory, and came across the Carrionplace. Many cats found it efficient to catch crows or vultures that lurked there, and those quick enough to catch them for prey formed Rowanclan. Shadowclan eventually began to argue about the wealth of the new clan's food source, and battled within their own territory against Rowanclan, finally agreeing to either secede from Shadowclan to join Rowanclan, or be cast out as a rogue. Being prideful, most Shadowclan cats became rogues. It is unknown whether or not they stick together now. 

Windclan, remaining neutral throughout the clans' battling, finally reached to conquer Riverclan's expansive territory that did not belong to Fogclan. However, the natural barrier of the falls and river became a challenge. Windclan took their strongest swimmers and climbers and deemed them Sootclan, pitting them against Riverclan's warriors. Though Riverclan were strong swimmers as well, their stronger fighters and leaders now belonged to Fogclan. The Riverclan warriors that remained outside of Fogclan were annihilated by Sootclan's warriors, while Windclan's members were decimated by Riverclan warriors of equal skill, leaving Fogclan and Sootclan in their places. Fogclan defended the remainder of their territory until they came to an agreement with Hollowclan on how it should be divided.

Hollowclan was still not satisfied with how much territory Thunderclan owned, however. They battled within themselves. Many members of Hollowclan died, and the new clans feared that Hollowclan would not survive the moon against Thunderclan. In an attempt to drive the final clan out, the four new clans joined together to take down Thunderclan's warriors. With their final combined efforts, the forest completely belonged to them. The new clans voted to stay on good terms, and celebrations within the four new territories ensued. Since then, the forest has not been in turmoil, but has been in a time of peace. Below are is an updated map of the forest territories, after the Great Clan Wars.

Sootclan

The final clan to break off from its roots, they believe that what happened to their ancestors is unfair. Like their Windclan ancestors, they believe they are “holy” since their territory is the closest to the Highstones, and they feel the most connected to Starclan. They are excellent climbers and swimmers, which proves useful against the falls in their territory, where they hunt for water voles and fish. Their territory is separated from Fogclan’s and the Fourtrees by the Twoleg bridge, which Fogclan shares with them. Winter is the hardest season for them since their Windclan ancestors did not use dens, but they have expanded the underground tunnels to include dens. Their arrogance often starts fights, but they back down because though they talk big, they are not strong fighters.

Owned territory:

Camp - It is tucked into a natural dip in the sandy moors. This makes the camp sheltered from wind, but easy to attack. 

Falls - A waterfall which used to belong to Riverclan, creating a natural boundary between the territories. It has since then become a part of Sootclan's territory and a vital food source. Apprentices are not allowed to go near it. 

Tunnels - A series of underground tunnels and dens dug for protection and ease of travel. They are dark and tough to navigate. During leaf-bare and clan emergencies, elders and queens need guidance by experienced warriors to their underground dens. During most seasons, the cats live above ground.
