I’m starting a little, thing, here. Gonna try and see how it works out. This will just be something I’ll post here and there when I haven’t found what I’m looking for yet and I need a break from it. Finding stuff sometimes take a minute and sometimes a week, there really isn’t much in between.

You know how you see a story post right? And you’re like “omg i love that outfit wcif?”. Well. I introduce you to #worn on sims! My brand new tag where I reblog screenshots and edits (that don’t already have cc links attached) and try to locate the cc links! I will find the cc first and add links accordingly. If one or two things can’t be located, I will put a “keep reading” so that I can update if I find the missing items at a later time.

Alternatively, if the post is a long one, I will contact the creator of the post to ask permission to post only the screenshot, with proper credit and all that ofc. (That would look a lot less messy, but we’ll see how this pans out first.)

This is just the intro post to this new thing I’m gonna try so the next post will be the first actual #worn on sims. Idk. Let’s just try and see what happens lmao.

I have no body overlays at the moment and I’m wondering what the best maxis match skins featuring body hair (all genders) / scars / stretch marks / cellulite / you know somewhat realistic but still sims? Thank you in advance!

I have never seen skins with hair included and couldn’t find any. However,

there are def some nice maxis mix (maxis with a hint of alpha) skins plus

body hair/scars/stretchmarks/cellulite addition to add on top.

Starch marks and cellulites (for when you’re pregenanant etc):Here’s oneAnother oneThere’s also this oneSkin overlays:These ones are a staple in my house, various bits and bobs here.This and this available for all.Also this and this, available for all (the sims resource).One, two, three, four, and five from MsBlue (the sims resource).I like these, all ages and genders.Body hairs:I love this one for females (edit of the one below)And this is the only other full body hair i use tbh. Shows up for all.There’s also “anatomical, bits and bobs” hairs like this one or this oneScars:Nolan sims has a heap in this packBonus bits and bobs:Freckles and wrinkles!Literally everything @faaeish has made.

Just a quick preview of a few (note: few. the creators have much nicer and better previews so there’s that) things listed. Black swan and Capitu are @simmerstesia and girly bodyhair is @simulationcowboy

OK SO I NEED EVERYONE TO LISTEN UP. i could put this all under the cut but im not gonna. the amount of time and sweat and people that went in to finding the skirt on the right is, astonishing. it’s a long story and i need a fika so to make it “short”: @gladlypants asked wcif the skirt over at discord. i said: hold on. cut to a couple of hours later and, nothing. glad asked the poster for wcif but they didn’t know and couldn’t look. so i continued my search. “sims 4 skirt”, “sims 4 pencil skirt”, “sims 4 cc print pencil skirt”, nothing but wrong items. @thesimsblues then suggested adding designer skirt, so i tried that. nothing. i checked every creator that do designer stuff and, nothing. i found a dress made by rusty nails with a similar looking “fabric” called valentino, but no skirt on the site either. i asked my new friendos over at @s4ccfaves​ and @whirliko​ also suggested designer so i searched for real life valentino skirts, and after a lot of buts and ifs and maybes and tears and D A Y S, i found the real skirt. for reference:

Awesome, we now had the name of the designer and the name of the skirt. now all that was left to do was to find who made it a sims 4 cc item. kate then managed to find out it was greenapple18r, which i had already checked the graveyard for but nothing. i tried finding a link that wasn’t dead but, i could find one. i tried to figure out what the .package file would be called but, nothing. in comes @budgie2budgie saying, and i quote: “i have it guys ;P”. mind you, at this point it had been several days of checking 400+ swatches of various skirts that looked similar. apparently, @xldkx had shared a folder with greenapple18r reuploads at the discord AND the creator was cool with sharing of the stuff as long as proper credit is given. hERE IS THE SKIRT. im getting a fika now bye.

I’ve scoured on lana, history challenge cc, google and have come up short so I thought I’d ask if maybe you had any hints or tricks in finding it? Sorry to be a bother, hopefully it won’t be as ridiculous as that tattoo find was 😂

So, I've been told I’m kind of good at finding cc. Not necessarily just missing or broken links but, stuff in general. I don’t know why or how but I can sometimes recognize creators based on style and/or texture. So I guess I’ll give this sideblog the old, collage try, or whatchumacallit.

These are the terms and rules (will be updated as needed):

- Send me an ask of what it is that you are looking for, try to be as specific as you can. Leave a “link” (since you can’t send ask with links) to the broken link or a link for a photo of what it is that you are looking for.

- Send a message. Include a link to cc or photo, please send source of photo if you can. Where and when did you see the thing? Please list as much info as you can that might be of help.

- Submit a link or photo of the thing you are looking for. No NSFW. I will review the post and block if needed.

- Please know that while I have found many things for people, I haven’t found everything. Before you ask me, be sure to check @losts4cc. She has a whole catalogue of old creators stuff, good people.
