           There’s a quirk of an eyebrow and an airy snort as he shook his head -- shoulders falling in a sigh of defeat, “Not the best at jokin’! But it was worth a shot.” A hand raises to rub at the back of his neck, messing up some strands that fell around his frame, “You’re right though. Meant it more along the lines of ‘I’m a klutz and am playin’ it off!’ though. Just didn’t quite get the delivery right I can see.”

glassy eyes widen with wonder. she’s developed a habit as of late, watching the  people pass her by whenever out working for auntie. chiyo keeps her gaze fixated on the man walking past her. a shoe in her hand, she pushes it out, just enough so she could catch his foot. the child is bored and is desperate to preoccupy her time by doing childish things children her own age do.
