(For anyone not familiar, the comic follows Kaidan and the Normandy crew in their Odyssey back to Earth after Shepard destroys the Reapers)

Dialogue Prompt #18: "I had a dream about you."

"Do you think dreams have meaning?"

She looked up from her datapad to find him looking down at her. She didn't answer right away; she'd never really given her dreams much deep thought. Most of her dreams didn't really bear thinking about.

"Yeah," she said slowly. Reluctantly. She'd rather keep pretending that dreams were just neurons firing randomly in the brain, but they were always honest with each other.

"I think dreams are our brains' way of communicating to us directly, in our own language. I think that's why explaining them to other people can be so hard. They'd have to be fluent in our... brain language. To really understand."

He looked at her thoughtfully for the briefest moment before continuing.

"I had a dream about you."

"Yeah," she said, smiling up at him mischievously. "I get your meaning."

Each day that passes is a day I get closer to unleashing the full might of my epic shenko comic onto your feeds (epic in the literary/Greek sense, not the dated internet slang sense)

And when that day comes we will all have @loverinthesnow to thank because morning after morning she wakes up to 10 - 40 unhinged rambling text messages, which she patiently sifts through to give me feedback and encouragement and inspiration

I’m really curious about the ME Odyssey Comparative Outline! 👀

Yay I'm so happy you asked! That's my big WIP for my comic I'm planning with @loverinthesnow, it's a retelling of the Odyssey set post-war. It follows Kaidan getting home to Shepard 🥺

I'm following both The Odyssey and ME canon as close as possible and it's been a little challenging but sooooo fun to plot out. Hopefully should be starting the first "book" soon!!
