Walk Down Memory Lane || Ariel && Eric

The last two weeks had been utter torture for Ariel. She hadn't spoken to her best friend, and her boyfriend wasn't speaking to her. If he was even still her boyfriend. That question had haunted her since everything had happened. But today wasn't about any of that. Today was about something more important. None of any of her personal problems were going to be on her mind today. A sigh escaped her as she pulled on her jeans and a long sleeved turtle neck, then slipped on her converse.

Ariel walked the halls of the dorms, avoiding eye contact with everyone. Not that there were many people out and about. It was still very early in the morning. The ones who were out were getting ready for the school day. Which today Ariel would not be participating in school. It was the one day of the year, should it fall on a weekday, she knew she would always skip no matter how many years went by. Walking up to the dorm she knew all too familiarly, she felt her heart pounding. Seb was in this room now. What if he answered? Maybe he wasn't even here. Ariel threw her dark brown hair up into a messy bun and knocked lightly on the door, waiting for the other occupant of the room to answer. He didn't know she was coming. But no matter what was going on, she'd always be there for him on this day.
