If you can’t tell, one of my favorite tropes is a victim pleading with their masked captor that they won’t tell a soul if they just leave right now because they have haven’t even seen their face right before sed masked captor tilts their head and takes off the mask, revealing themselves because we don’t do things half assed in this household.
