16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

Okay, I’ve learned to love CC despite its flaws and just thinking about changing it feels strange, but there are three things should happen:

1. Astoria should appear in the play

Just one tiny scene before another Hogwarts year starts where we can see all of the Malfoys in the background and Astoria is smoothing Scorpius’ robes and giving him a bag of sweets and making him smile even though everyone around them is openly hostile, that’s all I want. Well no, I want more, but I’d accept that. Her death would leave a greater impact on the audience if she was a person instead of just a name, you know? She deserves that much at least.

2. Just let Astoria live, dammit

Yeeees I know her death is important for Draco and Scorpius’ character development and all that, but I still want her to live. Again, it’s what she deserves.

3. MORE 👏🏼 RAVENCLAW 👏🏼 REP 👏🏼

Every single House gets rep in this play except Ravenclaw. I’ll keep making my own wonderful Ravenclaw OCs and defending my Ravenclaw Hugo Granger-Weasley hc to fill that particular void, but it would be nice to have some rep, you know? Like I don’t think any of the characters who have lines in CC are in Ravenclaw???? Unforgivable.
