We Got Hacked: A Commentary and Review
Not actually titled We’ve Been Hacked. It’s all a lie.
KO’s mop maltfunctions and he gets Dendy to fix it. Unfortunately, KO is gullible and presses on one of Dendy’s pop ups, which spreads into the mop and explodes into puddles across the store. People start stepping in it. It spreads, and by the end of it KO and Dendy are the only ones left and are stuck in the break room. The glitches glitch to a stop, allowing KO and Dendy to make it to the hackpack and reset the world. KO gets glitched, though, and stays glitched after rebooting the world.
Ignoring how horrifying everything is, the animation when the world was reset was very nice. Almost makes up for, well, everything.
Things I noticed (most of which I wish I hadn’t):
Enid never has a normal glitch form. Usually her a face is on something it shouldn’t be.
“I would highly advise against pressing—you just pressed it, didn’t you.”
Dendy is the most freaked out in this episode then she ever is in any other episode. That’s saying a lot, considering she’s still around for season 3.
Rad just broke his wrists and ankles for no reason. Also, he tried to walk on his hands before he tried to levitate. Good job, Rad.
Where is Mr. Gar through all of this.
Color palette darkens and there’s a red tinge around the edges of the screen. This only happens once the shot changes back to the bodegamen and ARMS and Brandon have glitched.
KO’s still glitched by the end of this, but he’s also still sentient.
Rating: 8/10. Horrifiying, but creative.
Number of holes in roof: 1. Camera looks through it. Great effect. Best hole so far.
