Tell us about your paracosms!.. Please?
Hi ! Oh man haha, my paracosm is just where I bundle my oldest OCs (in a world that has been called "Symphonia" because when I first started making OCs when I was like... 12 years old I REALLY fucking loved Tales of Symphonia :,^) ) The OCs that I still draw the most from there are, of course, Lana and Rena !
For the past few months I've been reworking their story in my head (when it comes to me... mainly when I walk to and from work) and I'd say I have reworked about 80% of their "story beats"... Their relationship is very rocky and tumultuous and grows from a toxic abuser/dependant dynamic to two people who grew into respecting themselves and the other person too and (re)discover each other through that new lens.
There's also a bunch of older lil guys (Felyx, the previous main character ; Edhel, Zero, etc etc) but I haven't gotten around to reworking those (though I'd say I did develop Edhel's family and little corner of the world more than anything else haha) And of course there's also Rena's family, but that's also under the reconstruction work because, well.... I grew up and I realized a lot of the initial choices I made at 15 years old were wonky at best and shady at worst :,^)
Hopefully I'll be sharing more about all this little thing living in my head in the weeks, months and years to come as I try to reconnect with drawing and creating and having fun through art !!!
