Co-opting black struggle.
We’re so popping, we can’t even have struggle and triumph over it independently.
To the light Latinas claiming to be black, you’re not. You did not grow up with black vernacular in your house. You’re the same latinas using the n-word like it’s cute and yours to own, colonizer, I mean Latina.
To the light ass Latinas claiming blackness, how about you create room within your own communities to the true Afro-latinas (black in complexion with black parents), instead of trying to co-opt a struggle that does not belong to you.
To the light ass Latinas doing this, you’re so anti-black it’s disgusting. You're taking away space from black women who were not introduce to their struggle through politic and probably had to deal with entitled ass women like you who were let into spaces because of their lightness and latinidad which was/is not inclusive of blackness. #letherspeak
To the BLACK GIRLS, you are popping and always in vogue. NO ONE HAS SHIT ON YOU! Do not be modest in loving yourself or your other beautiful brown sisters. Claim your space loudly and proudly.
