1. how long have i known about them

ive known about these two since i was little!!! my older brothers were in high school when the telltale games released, and being close with them i got into it a bit too. being young i only saw a few things (two episodes of the cartoon: The Glazed McGuffin Affair and Dysfunction Of The Gods; the bloopers for telltale's season two; the trailer for Moai Better Blues are all ones that stand out in my memory from back then) but we bought the 2007 Surfin' The Highway book and i was OBSESSED. it was a book with pictured i'd read again and again and again, and even if i didnt understand 100% what was going on i enjoyed it nonetheless!! (i also found myself looking at the gorgeous ladies steve purcell drew for far too long to be considered normal but i didnt realize that until much later, haha 😳)

i only REALLY started getting into them during the recent resurgence though. THATS when my hyperfixation on them hit. I played all the games, reread the comics, binged the cartoon and literally got the confidence to sign up for a fic site in order to write about them and post it!! i hadnt published my works in a long time and this site was new territory for me so i consider it a pretty big milestone!! (now that theyre back i may as well write something else for them....hmm. we'll see!!)

all in all this series means a lot to me and has since i was a kiddo. ive met a handfull of wonderful people through it and hope theres more sam and max goodness for years to come!!
