I feel pretty safe as a Jew usually. Sometimes I let my personal life sweep me up and I forget the pain. But I'm not safe, my dad works in certain embassies, installing phones and checking internet, if he shows he's a Jew he could be fired, or maybe even killed. My friend was attacked on a bus in England on Shabbat. She was wearing a necklace with her Hebrew name on it, and a man saw her and started yelling in a language she doesn't know. She pulled away from his hold and sat on the top floor. I'm not safe. None of us are, so don't pretend that antisemitism doesn't exist. It does.
