thing is, all this stuff he says and does is just completely natural. you can tell he doesn't even think about it

I find myself falling a little bit more in friend-love with Nebraska every time you post about him. :3

Tell me about it. He's pretty damn cool.

He's so confident in his own weirdness that you just go along with it and end up saying and doing things that you'd normally only think about saying or doing.

We've got exactly the same sense of humour that's based on odd word combinations and deep, deep irony. So many times we've just ended up literally snorting with laughter while the rest of the community look at us like 'ok we don't get it'.

He's the kind of guy that you walk away from every conversation thinking 'wow, I bet you'd be a freaking awesome best friend'.

Well for me there’s no such thing as ‘too much’, but then, I have willingly dedicated the next three years of my life to ON and OE so I dunno if I’m representative… (Also, ‘no ergi’ is a fantastic tag.) Clearly our lives are on parallel tracks and we make awesome life choices. Also I am so happy that you like that tag. Incidentally, I'm going to start up no-ergi.tumblr to nitpick the "Vikings" show (the steerboard on the port side of the ship first aroused true ire, since I concede that they can do whatever they want with Ragnar Loðbrok since he's about as historical as Robin Hood). Would you want in on that? If nothing else, it's likely to devolve into Norse fangirling, which is always fun.
