It’s a Norwegian book called “Falketårnet”. It’s about a boy who’s lost both parents and he lives in a tower with his falcons. One day he falls in love with the hangman’s daughter and they are super cute together. And then his pedophilic uncle and the local monk accuse them for being possessed by the devil and torture and death happens and ahhh I cried so much.
