mcu spiderman dream

Had a similar dream two separate nights in which the cast of the MCU Spiderman movies just so happened to be visiting my hometown. I met Zendaya first at some extremely fancy place that was showing the movie and serving food, and she introduced me to Tom Holland. He had the wimpiest limp fish grip I had ever shaken hands with. Seriously, I held out my right hand and he was already holding something in his right, so instead of shifting the hand he was holding it in, he tried to shake my hand with his left, and it was super weak and floppy. I remember this more than anything else. After that, all that happened was we hung out and talked until the dream ended.

I cannot stand weak handshakes. Honestly leaves such a bad first impression on me. Can legit see why its so important to employers :P

There is no bigger turnoff in a man than a weak handshake.  None of this tender bullshit.  It's actually insulting, because I either assume that you're trying to "tone down" your grip so you don't shatter my delicate female metacarpals, or that you are trying to drop a hint that you're really not at all enthused about meeting me.  Both are rude and not okay.

Seriously, what is so hard about this?  How do you survive in the business world without knowing proper technique?  Just... how?

And then there are the guys who do manage the proper handshake, but then they bring the other hand around and cover your hand they're already holding.  Whenever this happens, all I can think is that I'm not only socially, but now physically, trapped.

And women don't have an excuse either.  Once I went to shake a woman's hand and she just kinda limply held it up; it actually looked like she wanted me to kiss it.  

Part of me wishes I would have just gone ahead and kissed it just to make her feel equally as uncomfortable.

To wrap it up, man up and learn how to shake hands like a normal person.
