Why Does Starfleet use Phasers? [source]

The phaser is the offensive choice for the United Federation of Planets.  But why does Starfleet place such a high emphasis on this form of technology over disruptors?

Especially when most of the other species in the Star Trek universe prefer the latter?  Well I think the answer lies in a strange place, the utility and morality of the Federation and the role that Starfleet has to undertake in the name of exploration and protection.

From 2151-2370, let's look at what makes phasers stand out over other particle weapons.

August 19 1918, Buffalo--Airplane technology had steadily advanced over the course of the war; planes gradually got faster, more maneuverable, and/or able to carry heavier loads.  Although late to the war, aviation originated in the United States and airplane production had dramatically increased even before they entered due to Allied demand.  After entering, the Americans put more emphasis on developing their own designs; one of these was the Curtiss 18T, known as the “Wasp.”  Designed as an escort for strategic bombers, it was meant for speed, having a highly streamlined fuselage.  On August 19, it set a new (unofficial, of course, during wartime) airspeed record of 163 mph, laden under expected wartime conditions.  It would not see service on the Western Front before the end of the war, however.

The ongoing goal, when people are targeted this way is to damage the nervous system and ultimately destroy a person's overall health.   Sitting at the helm of beamed weapons, inside our communites has evolved a high tech monstrosity spearhead by those who are nothingless than hideous human monsters, official psychopaths, and sociopaths.   As Lockheed Martin, continues training the AA Cops, and military personnel within the high-tech military, FBI COINTELPRO, one of their own, Agent Mike Beck documented that vibrating the human nervous system was likely responsible for creating Parkinson's Disease. Beck made the connection in the 90's.   These men are sick, sick, sick and the lowest on this planet. They are clean shaven, suited and in uniform that are murdering people across the USA, selectively with beamed weapons, creating heart attacks, strokes, brain aneurysms, crippling, breast and various cancers, etc., etc., etc. Today using the beamed weapon system, I was called "Common Trash." This is after one of these delusional individual thought flattery would have an impact on me. It won't. The only thing, these twisted monstrous souls can do for me is gag me and I am not afraid to admit! Poor things, their egos can't take it. This is a battle for my life and not a personality contest. I am not trying to win Miss Congeniality! Even if they were not around me illegally using these weapons, I would not look twice at them in passing.   They should quit deflecting. The goal is to put a target into a category and program the rock head military and ghetto cops of this false reality to make it easier to harm targets, and worse that a human being is valueless.   On the way home, I passed several homeless people and I thought they are better than these people. The only people, it appears, they hurt are themselves. Yet the fact is, many have been targeted this way into despair and self sabotage.   In my case, they are pissed they were unsuccessful with me and now I am a thorn in the side of a mixed race of people heinously possessed by something beyond belief hideous and in reality are nonhuman humans.
