Good Morning Everyone! I hope you beautiful people got plenty of rest the night before because when it comes to having a GREAT day it's about QUALITY not quantity...like most things in life. 😉 A quality day, starts the night before, when we have restful sleep, which means comfortable, relaxed, deep, undisturbed sleep. In turn sleep improves memory and cognitive function, our ability to eliminate stress and helps aid physical/immune system recovery! Bra if that doesn't set you up for your day I don't know what does...most times with the hustle and bustle of modern society we tend to disrupt our natural bio rhythms, by staying up too late on the gadgets or eating food out of convenience rather than for our health, which leads to dramatic highs and lows physically, mentally, and emotionally. If we can create an environment in our homes that supports our ability to rest and relax we will be FAR better off. Put the gadgets away when it's close to bedtime and read a book laying in bed, don't eat sugary foods or processed foods before trying to sleep, and take the time when laying down to focus on deep relaxed breaths which calms your heart rate and prepares your body and mind to sleep. Our tribal ancestors understood that sleep is one of the strongest human NEEDS. Reoccuring themes in indigenous cultures states that the night was for the GODS and the day was for people. Not because they needed a Boogie Man😈, but it was their way of saying "Hey let the Gods have their time, we need to get some rest so WE READY for our time!" Make the most of your day, be fruitful and authentic👍🏾ALOHA, much respect! #keepitlocalspreaditglobal #weareallnatives #villageminded #nativeheart #nativeintelligence #move #consciousness #awareness #health #relax #sleep #mindfulness #sunrise #spirit
