‘Truth?’

In almost every second of each day, majority of the earth’s population are bound to listen and watch stories, lyrics, movies etc. The other majority expresses or speaks these words, stories and songs.  It used to be simple before ‘the age of information’; one can sing a song with lyrics so beautiful and mournful that people would believe the musician from a past experience might have experienced it.  Those were the days where days where marvelous liars are seen as telling the perfect truth; in songs, speeches, stories etc. But in the age of information, deceit even from marvelous liars can unravel in a second.   

Yet, even when these deceits or lies unravel before our very eyes there are still some who chose to be obtuse. In the age of information, ignorance is in fact a choice. ‘It’s a basic truth of the human condition that everybody lies.’  And those who chose to believe it may be judged, looked down upon, admired, crucified etc. But what of those who tell the lies, shouldn’t they get the same hindrance as the ones who looked away?
