Hey it’s Nicole Volynets-Gamer and I’m here writing from the VALENTÍNИÌCOLE headquarters in New York City! These last weeks we had the pleasure of getting to connect with good people from all over the country, and even internationally (Shoutout to our girl in Holland)! With all of these incredible submissions from such beautiful and different people, it made choosing just one super difficult!  

To us this has been the best competition we have done because it gave us an incredible glimpse of where our clothing goes, how it’s worn, and most of all the awesome people wearing it!

After the contest had finally come to a close and after much deliberation, we had found the winner to be named our Miss VALENTINNICOLE. She holds the crown right now and hails from good ol’ Alabama. While we were joyous to finally be getting some “warm” weather that was in the mid 60’s here in New York, our Miss ValentinNicole was hangin’ out in a nice warm 87 degrees!! Jealous much… Yes, we were.

We’re super pleased to introduce you all to our friend Sydney who is reppin’ ValentinNicole oh so well out in Grady, Alabama! Let jump right into it…

Nicole Volynets: Hey Sydney, tell us a little bit about yourself! Your name and where you're from. Then just give us a few sentences about who you are and what you're about.

Sydney Morgan: My name is Sydney Morgan. I'm 17, from a small town in Alabama where the population is under 1,000. I love Jesus, he keeps me grounded. Dance is my passion! I love ballroom, from there you can go anywhere.. I enjoy fashion, I love a classic look with a twist! Soft tee's and cute skirts are some of my favorites. That's why I love the ValentinNicole look.

Nicole Volynets: What's the most important thing for your look when you step out of the door?

Sydney Morgan: For me the most important thing is either a great pair of sunnies or the perfect lipstick, whether it be bold or neutral. I think these can tie any look together!

Nicole Volynets: What does ValentinNicole mean to you?

Sydney Morgan: ValentinNicole... means passion and creativity, classic and comfortable. The designs encourage me to chase my dreams, to be confident and positive. And I'm thrilled to be able to represent the brand!

Nicole Volynets: What makes your heart skip a beat?

Sydney Morgan: Well, the message telling me I won the contest definitely made my heart skip a few beats!  Dance moves me...When I have a good lesson or master a new pattern, I get a glimpse of my future and it keeps me going.

Nicole: Cat or Dog?

Sydney: Dog. We have 5 dogs and one cat, dogs win! Crazy about animals and somehow strays always seem to find us.

Nicole: Black or White?

Sydney: White

Nicole: PB&J or MAC&CHEESE?

Sydney: Not really a fan of either, can you believe that?! But if I had to choose, PB&J.

Nicole: Giraffe or owl?

Sydney: I'd have to pick the owl because she has the freedom to fly.

Nicole: Rock or pop? Any others?

Sydney: Well my music taste varies so it's hard to nail me down to one. Honestly it can range from Frank Sinatra to Taylor Swift.

Nicole: Top 3 fav movies?

Sydney: 1. Breakfast at Tiffany's

               2. Sound of Music

               3. The Longest Ride

Nicole: Gold or silver?

Sydney: Gold

Nicole: Describe your personality in 3 adjectives?

Sydney: Dreamer, encourager, intuitive.

Nicole: Whats your spirit animal?

Sydney: The wild horse, he is noble in his own right, part of this nation's history, and he should be free. Unfortunately some are not and still at risk. I've been following the Safe Act in the Senate.

Nicole: Okay, finally.. How would you describe your fashion personality?

Sydney: I like my style personality to be classy, elegant, and fun...like Audrey Hepburn with a modern twist.
