no more tumblr for me

hey all, I’ve decided to stop using tumblr as a blogging platform, at least for the time being. I want to thank everyone for keeping me entertained, and sharing your love for what I do. it’s just that as I get busier and take what I do a little more seriously, I can’t help feeling like I should make more of an effort to document it. tumblr as an image sharing platform just feels like the wrong place to do that right now. if you still want to follow me and what I’m up to, find me on instagram facebook twitter wordpress

Making some last minute stickers for tomorrow

Oh man, there’s so much I’ve learned about what I should be including in a zine over the last couple of days. I don’t regret making plenty of rookie mistakes in Demonia; if anything it’s just made me eager to begin working on another. I’m not sure if I’ll keep the same title, or theme, but it’s good to have anything to work towards. Inspiration and motivation are not to be sniffed at. I can make a few alterations to Demonia before print I guess. Just minor things like proper crediting on the cover, artist names on the respective comic strips/illustrations within, contact emails and dating the issue. Country of origin is a good idea too, with the nature of circulation being like it is within the zine community. Plenty to think about. ay yo

setting my desk space up today. it’s been on my to-do list for way too long, but to be honest I really needed the down time after moving. desperately needed to recharge my batteries... however, been discussing recent complacency with the bf and what the best way to go about getting back on being productive is. i’ve never had a relationship as frank and supportive as this, so i’m ready to make the most out of it. i’m looking into the possibility of making my own merch in the near future - so excited about that! right now i’m thinking limited numbers of t-shirts, illustrative prints and stickers. I also met the owner of a local gallery by chance the other day, and she’s invited me to get involved and show some work there.
