Man it's it gorgeous outside!! Just spent the last two hours at Expo Park spinning and weaving while my husband played disc golf. No pics of spinning because it's hard to photograph one's self while operating a drop spindle.🤳 And then it just got too windy🌬️ Thank goodness I brought the backstrap loom - just in case. This is a basic Peruvian pebble weave. Tension is a little wonky at the beginning because I tried to set it up on my rigid heddle. Backstrap is much better! I'm so excited to have finally finished my bag last weekend. I wanted to make a cute story video to celebrate, but I rushed it off to @pineycreekyarnco so it could be seen as a class sample. I'll be using it soon! I'm the meantime I've already had my first class on the log cabin weave of the body of the bag. What an amazing time! These gals were so great.
