I’ve praised Dumbing of Age’s archive system before, and strips like this are a great example of why. I had a very vague memory of the name Leland and no clue who the fuck Asher was, but it only took me like thirty seconds to look it up in-comic and see that Leland was the bully who fucked up Marcie’s throat and Asher was the kid who got Sal into crime. Now I’m all caught up and I didn’t have to go to a wiki! 

Tagging your comic pages with characters makes it so much easier for you to do these kind of callbacks without new or forgetful readers getting lost. And it’s a default functionality in ComicPress! More webcomics should be doing it, but so few do!

I love Korean webcomics, I just hate how the websites to legally read them work. You have to pay in virtual money to read chapters. I'd much rather just buy a season upfront like a volume for a book or have a subscription that gives you full access to the entire library. Even the wait to read chapters don't cover the whole seasons. Really happy some of them are getting full volume releases that are physical books and/or Digital releases. I'd even just be happy if they did what viz does which is pay a 1-3 dollar subscription to read a certain amount of chapters a day from a limited library. Viz and Shonen Jump you can read 100 chapters a day for an under $5 subscription. That is honestly the only economical way to read all of one piece.

I almost always look at a webcomic's cast page. So I get disappointed a lot. Even a plain list of faces and names is better than nothing . . .

You can now name story parts and see their names as you’re choosing a part number! Also, speed improvements.
