Vampire Academy premiere!
Okay, keeping this short before my brain liquifies in my head. Please excuse the mindless rambling / bitching because I have a migrane the size of texas and I'm ready to throw this laptop. k? k.
I'll curb, when I first saw that it was made by the people who made Mean Girls, I was outraged, Mean Girls was so prissy and pathetic and the second one was mindnumbing, but it actually wasn't too shabby. They did try to add some unnecessary humor and random things here and there that were.. well, unnecessary, but overall it kept very close to the books. Which is /awesome/. I had a hard time visualizing Danila Kozlovsky as Dimitri, just cause.. I couldn't put a face on him. He was Dimitri. That was it, and I shipped #romitri like nobody's business so the books. lol. If this becomes a full series movie set, someone's going to have to cart me to the threatres. It's gonna be baaaad. and saaaad. and fangirl. and yep. stopping.
WHY IS THAT ALLOWED?! CUUUUUUUTE. HELP.
All in all, I enjoyed it. I loved the aspects that they kept, and honestly I can't remember absolute details from the book vs movie but it was overall well played out. I definitely left the threatre in 4 degrees with like -20 degree windchill, grinning like a fool. Especially since I didn't pay for the ticket (free ticket ftw) and free popcorn too. Best dollar ever spent. Gonna go to bed shipping Romitri like a hellspawn now.
PS: The vision effect that they gave Rose in the movie is loooveeely. It's so detailed and flashy, I'm glad they didn't use some cheap contact or something (kinda like twilight, cough) Shipping in this series is..
