So I was at a flea market yesterday, and I came across a decent-ish lot of Webkinz trading cards (between 2007 and '08 depending on the series). Never got into that sort of craze - being like 13 or 14 probably had something to do with it - but always struck my curiosity. It was about 5 packs of each, and opened them out of curiosity.
Some of the better cards in terms of rarity, though only had 1:9 chance pulls, and it threw me off that you could pull foils from this set. (Snapshots, Curio Shop, and sparkle sticker). Some other good stuff from it too, but may be better to show certain cards individually on fun short posts rather than clutter longer posts talking about the opening of it.
All in all, in terms of collecting and opening for the fun of it, it's a great thing to have come across. (and PS, does anyone know if the code cards are still valid? I wanna say I doubt because it was well over a decade ago, but who knows.)
