I have looked at Juliette Van Rhyns graphic design portfolio because she works in graphic design and illustration and i find her packaging in particular very interesting and that is one of the aspects that i am most interested in.
Throughout her website, the image takes precedent over anything with small amounts of text to bring context to the designs. what makes this website so consistent is that all of her work has a consistent colour scheme and she rarely breaks that, which allows her to bring in these accents colours into the website.
One of the most interesting things i would was that the ‘about’ button went down the side of the page and opened up across the work which is something i havent seen before. The contact section was also situated under this as well as other academic achievements in her field.
The vary in scale of the images allows them each to speak for themselves and exhibits her strengths in both typography and illustration.
