I’ve been wanting to draw Jack as a Spidersona version of himself since I left the theaters in December.
In the Spiderverse, Jack get bit, becomes a Spiderman, and gets training from Wolfweb, who is really Najla. Who is also Jack’s crush in his normal life. Whats funny though is that Jack has no idea the two are the same person while Najla is 100% aware of Jack’s true identity. She’s got a very interesting side effect where she can mutate her body in a similar way to venom due to the nature of the spider that bit her.
Ages ago I made little spidersonas of Jack and Nana and the concept of them interacting in the Spider Society is very cute to me
Like Jack returning from a mission and immediately beelining to Nana to ramble about everything. She doesn't mind it and looks forward to it which is why they have a little designated meeting spot to make it easier for Jack to find her. I imagine it's the little spider cafe you see in the film.
Nana being one of the top spiders to send on missions because she is so lethal and straight to the point and rarely fails. Meanwhile Jack is one of the goofiest fellas who literally is a "welp-we might as well send him in" bottom of the barrel guy.
Nana training Jack so he doesn't keep getting chewed out by Miguel and he winds up being LESS of a disappointment to him and Nana winds up making the request "If you want to me to go, I get to take Jack with me" though it is less of a rule and more of a "I am going to do this thing and you will not be stopping me"
Her often sneaking off into his dimension to hang with him in a more quiet place and vice versa.
Them chilling in a web hammock when they both have nothing really going on and both their dimensions are being a little too much right now.
Potential movie spoiler under cut
They don't pursue Miles during the chase so I like to imagine they are on one of their dates while munching on some doughnuts while on one of the walkways or in their hammock and they hear the message from Miguel to get Miles and Jack looks to Nana with his mouth full in a "should we do it or-" way only for her to silently shake her head and give him a peck on the cheek and he forgets about the chase demand instantly
