💫 Name some artists who influence your style!

So for my normal sketching/watercolor style, I’d say I’m actually not sure what my style is right now, and it’s beginning to concern me, but as long as I keep drawing maybe one will surface in a million years. I’ve followed @/loish and @/viria for a very long time; also on Insta I’ve followed Cyarine, Sara Tepes, Qinni (Rest in Peace 💛), Danica Sills, n1mh, Jacqueline de Leon, and Mioree for style. Some of my random ultimate favs include bwusagi, Pete Mohrbacher, Norman Rockwell, and... uh... Zdzisław Beksiński, surprisingly, even though whatever I draw isn’t directly influenced by them. Lately I’ve really been loving @/cranity.

My realism portraits of BoB characters don’t really display substantial stylistic quirks. They’re like practice in learning about human face anatomy, and I don’t think I can name anyone in particular who I’ve been inspired by other than @/luluxa. The portraits help me to draw people well on my own, though. 

Wow, that was long. I’m sure I’m forgetting something but I’m moving on.

🐠 Where do you get inspiration?

Literally anywhere. Rarely I get things in dreams, like this monstrosity. Other times it’s because I’m scrolling through other people’s art. Sometimes it’s nature, sometimes it’s prompts. I’ve mostly been doing fanart lately so that requires a little less inspiration.

📎 What are your workspace essentials?

Usually I have La Croix or tea or something, lip balm, lots of daylight, and music. For traditional art I have a pencil, eraser, sketchbook, watercolors, ruler, compass (for circles), brushes, water, and a paper towel. Maybe a marker or two / colored pencils in lieu of all the paint stuff. For digital, I just have my Wacom tablet and Krita.
