Barry went from the lab to the museum in 2.8 seconds, his quiet night in just reviewing old fights and having copious amounts of burgers went out the window. Because Mark Mardon had to trigger the alert. Of course he did. Barry got himself to the best vantage point there, trying to catch a glimpse of the guy before any fight started. Once he did, he thought of a few different ways he could stop him. Oliver would be proud. Though less so when Barry’s irritation at his interrupted night had him call out, “Hey Mardon! Couldn’t pick another day to pull this could you?”

For a split second, Joss felt a soft tug in her stomach at her father’s words. She’d been feeling that urge to be better and do better since before her trial, but recent experience had taught her to ignore that feeling. It’d only brought her false hope and more pain. “This doesn’t change anything for me.” Joss’ expression hardened as she locked eyes with her dad. “I still hate you.”

He’s holding Mark’s ‘wand’… stupid name for it really. “You sure this ain’t some alien anal probe?” Skepticism threads roughly through his voice as he holds it up to the light, eyeing it suspiciously.

         Mardon folded his arms crossed his chest and leaned his back against the blue padded cell that he was recently reacquainted with. Part of him wanted to retort with a snarky comment, but the lingering silence that followed after The Flash’s request was an indication that Mardon was second thinking his options of how to respond. Finally he opened his mouth to respond,     “ Whaddya want? ”     it was a simple question built on the assumption that Mardon figured The Flash might already have an idea of what he wanted Mardon to do to prove he had changed in result of his incarceration over the last few years.

Barry shook his head, running a hand over his masked face. “You don’t -- “ his voice lost the anger and he took a deep breath, disappointment coloring his words. “You don’t get it -- do you? I don’t want anything, Mardon. I want you to want something. Something other than this cell.” Barry watched the other meta through the shield that separated them.

“ is this what you wanted? ”

Caitlin crossed her arms over her chest and looked over at the man. Was this what she had wanted? Did she ever expect to be a meta human that worked against the people she had thought to be her family? NO. But that was her life now, she was thankful that she had someone to help her. ❛ It’s different -     although I can’t say that it’s for the worst. ❜

Her eyes moved down to Mark’s out stretched arm. It looked red and agitated. She moved the arm to a different angle to get an even closer look at the wound. ❛ Yes -     would did you do? ❜ Why didn’t you come to me, she added silently in her head. Caitlin thought that they knew if they needed in medical assistance that they could come to her.

“Where’s the fun in that?” It wasn’t like he was known for being subtle either. Though she supposed she stood out a bit more in the crowd with the flash of her gold gun, and the melted gold statues left in her wake.

“What is this? You some sort of pervert?”

Her gaze dragged all too slowly up his freshly showered torso, and she put on that mock expression of surprise. “What? A girl isn’t allowed to enjoy the view?”  A hint of a smile and she tosses him a clean towel. 

“Meeting starts in 10, see you there weather wiz.”
